Greetings! I am Pawan Sai, and I am an Electronics Engineer at Analog Devices. Over my 5 years of professional career, my role was to develop IBIS (Behavioral Black-box) models and perform Timing analysis and Signal Integrity checks to validate them. I have a definite edge towards Automation and have developed several Python scripts that assist in my workflow.

I was awarded my Bachelor's degree as 'summa cum Laude' (Gold Medal) from Jain University in Electronics and Communication Engineering. I have undivided interest towards Robotics and Embedded Systems. I have participated at various Robot events and my Thesis cum project was on a fitness wearable named 'WRISTLET'.

My research interests lie in the aforementioned fields and I aspire to be a Research Scientist. Please reach out to me if you want to learn more about my background and experiences.

IBIS Modeling: IBIS (I/O Buffer Information Specifications) is a behavioural model that describes the electrical characteristics of the Pins of an IC (Integrated Circuit) These models are used for circuit-level Signal Integrity (SI) analysis. The Timing analysis is performed to overcome any undue SI effects.

IBIS-AMI (Algorithmic Modeling Interface) for full channel simulation, implemented for Serializer-Deserializer (SerDes) designs. Spectre simulations are captured from Analog Design Environment. Python scripts are coded for the ease of workflow. Mentored interns who joined as colleagues later.

Robotics

Grid Follower and All-Terrain Bot

Finalist in Robotryst - Designed and implemented Grid Follower bot using Atmega AVR uC. The input sensor was an IR transceiver. It was coded using Embedded C++ and flashed using AVR studio Flasher.

Also designed a multi-terrain Robot to navigate on any terrain. It was a manually controlled 4-wheel drive bot. Maintaining the center of gravity was a key challenge.

WRISTLET - A fitness wearable

An IoT fitness wearable on wrist, that tracks the distance travelled, calories burned, monitors heart rate, maps the unknown GPS terrain with a clock & Temperature sensor. The recorded data is automatically synced to the website and android app using the WiFi module. The measurement algorithms were developed by me along with the Schematic design, Coding in Embedded C++ with multi-threading using the Atmega 2560, and designing and fabrication of PCB
